Wieteska studied art history at Sorbonne, France, and at Warsaw University. He graduated from the Cinematography Department of PWSFTviT in Łódź. The Far West series comprises 50 black-and-white photographs taken during the artist`s journey across the south-western States in 1988. The central theme of the pictures was light and American myths.
