The work is part of the Dłubak-Sources series. Sources is a play with the notion of an archive as a source of information, an attempt to destroy its integrity and uniformity. The collection of negatives, photos, sketches, notes and texts left by this important figure in Polish photography serves as a resource or a `source` of new images - neutral representations, glaring manipulations and montages. The aim of this game is not to reconstruct Dłubak as he actually was, but to capture the products of his thinking and artistic and commercial activity.
