This work is an example of the artistic experiments pursued by Michalik, who specialised in abstract representations of natural motifs. To produce her images, she would often use image-deforming filters, e.g. pieces of glass. Coming from the Lviv community of photographers, she produced soft-tone works reminiscent of the pictorial tradition.
