Although Wojciech Plewiński`s photography usually brings to mind portraits of Polish artists or memorable theatrical scenes, his work also comprises landscape. The triptych presented here is
a photographic adoration of spring, and even though its aesthetics incline towards abstract photography, we know that it depicts the Wołosaty Spring in the town of Procisne, the Bieszczady Mountains.
The works from the series were shown at the artist`s solo show Wojciech Plewiński - Sketches from Culture / Sketches from Nature in the National Museum in Cracow in 2011.
