This well-known work of Buczkowski, combines the artist`s masterly approach to landscape photography and his interest in people. Even if people are not portrayed by the artist in a straightforward and distinct fashion, they are present as figures or we can see the traces of their activity, such as ploughed fields.
The featured work has been widely exhibited in Poland and abroad: ZPAF, Toruń (1978); Janusz Buczkowski. A retrospective, BWA Kielce, BWA Włocławek, Bielsko-Biała (1982); Museum of Photography, Bièvres, France (1982); 44th International Salon of Photography, Tokyo, Japan (1987).
It has also made its way into several publications.
Other prints of the same photographs are owned by several museums and private collectors.
