Daruma, a Japanese type of doll, is the nickname of the Warsaw drag queen shown in this photograph. Monika Redzisz and Monika Bereżecka portrayed him when working on their series about men impersonating women on stage, most often in a caricatural way, using stunning clothes and strong make-up.
