The series which this photograph comes from consists of large-size photographs showing empty interiors of darkroom clubs, taken in the morning, after the guests have left and before the cleaning staff move in. The titles are simply the names of the cities where the photographs were taken. Pustoła plays here with the double meaning of the word "darkroom." The obvious association with photographic darkrooms intertwines here with the reference to the popular rooms in gay clubs, where guests can have sex. Pustoła photographed the latter.
