Hueckel creates photography, graphic art and set designs. Graduate of the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She studied at Vysoká ąkola výtvarných umění in Bratislava (Slovakia) and Schule für Gestaltung in St. Gallen (Switzerland). In 2002, together with Agata Serafin, she set up a photographic duo called hueckelserafin, which, in 2004, received the Sopot Muse Award of the Mayor of Sopot for Young Artists. Lecturer at the School of Photography of ZPAF; she works at the Contemporary Theatre in Warsaw and collaborates with the New Theatre and the Athenaeum Theatre in Warsaw. In 2009, Hueckel received a scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Selected individual exhibitions: REM series, Foto Art Gallery, Częstochowa (2010); Hueckelserafin. Selected Works 2003-2007, Andersons Mill Smeaton, Daylesford Foto Biennale, Australia (2007). Group exhibitions: Landscape Marginality, 7th Biennale of Photography, Poznań (2011); Passage Effect, Upper-Silesian Museum, Bytom (2011); Moore and Auschwitz, Tate Britain, London (2010). The artist`s works are in numerous photography collections.

In opposition to Hueckel`s prior works, primarily focused on the issues of identity and corporality (Self-Portraits), photographs from the Compositions (Ice) series may be classified as photographic landscape. They were created during the artist`s trip to Iceland.

Six works from the series are in the Andel`s Hotel Contemporary Art collection in Łódź.
