He was a classical photographer, his works included portraits and landscapes. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology (1968). He served as a president of Gliwice Photographic Society. He organized two editions of Didactic Seminar of Young People Committee of F.I.A.P. (1974-1985). His works such as 'Motive from Ilza’ (Polish: ‘Motyw spod Ilzy’), 'Portrait of a fisherman' (Polish: ‘Portret rybaka’) or 'Prima Wera' have been awarded many times during numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He received many awards and honoraries, among others, the title of Artiste FIAP (1960), Honorary Diploma of FASFwP (1960), Jan Bulhak Medal (1976), Award of the Minister of Culture and Art (1976) and "Meritorious Cultural Activist" Badge. (1983). His works can be found in the collection of the Museum in Gliwice.
