This portrait comes from one of the earliest sessions during which Świetlk photographed Grzegorz Ciechowski, whom he worked with for over a decade. Over the years, he made hundreds of pictures of Ciechowski, also known as Obywatel G.C. and Grzegorz z Ciechowa, as well as of members of the Republika band. Some of them were reproduced on record covers and were also official pictures promoting the musician himself and his projects. The photographer remembers that Ciechowski was always meticulously prepared, with every detail of his artistic image perfectly thought out.
