The reproductions show the works of Dorys considered to be the first Polish photographic document, produced in 1931, only a few years after Dorys made his début. The pictures, taken with a small-format camera, show pre-war life in Kazimierz nad Wisłą. They were reproduced for the first time in 1960 for the artist`s exhibition.
The featured reproductions were published in a book designed by Henryk W. Piekarniak and published by Pracownia Sztuk Plastycznych w Warszawie in a limited edition of 300 copies.
