As Wieczorek commented in his Photography for Skiers guidebook, "(…) there is no winter photography without snow and sun, and one is not to be discouraged by freezing weather". Even though he followed the principles of Buhak`s Native Photography, he also had an inclination towards modern photography - formally different from the soft pictorialist style of the inter-war period. He advocated sharp photographs, faithfully reproducing reality, as well as non-typical, dynamic compositions.
