The artist followed the philosophy of his Zero-61 Group. Its members probed the potential of the photographic medium in a variety of ways. They kept experimenting with techniques. This work is an example of these experiments. It is also characteristic of the individual style of Wardak, who would often present a human figure amidst flowers and trees.
