The impressive work produced by Zofia Nasierowska, one of the most esteemed portrait artists of the last century, includes a photograph of Barbara Kwiatkowska-Lass (1940-1995), an actress who starred in Polish and foreign films. Lass became famous for her role in Tadeusz Chmielewski’s comedy Ewa Wants to Sleep (1957). She worked for the Polish Broadcasting Station of the Radio Free Europe. She was the first wife of Roman Polański.
