According to Dłubak, the problem of the asymmetry of the world goes far beyond art itself. As the artist believed, "anything that exists in the world, any objects, any things, and facts are unrepeatable. They cannot be reconstructed. Being different, autonomous and individual as they are, they cannot be compared." Attempting to express the asymmetry through photography is subject to com- pletely different rules. Through his Asymmetry Dłubak is, in a way, investigating and exploring the topic.
