This work comes from the Book of Love series, which is highly popular, especially in the Far East, and was published as a book under the same title. The hand-made, highly precise montages show surreally looking women, entangled in their own bodies. When asked by Sebastian Cichocki whether he was not afraid of censorship, Rumiak answered: "No, I’m not - I myself am morally ultra-conservative" (Ultramaryna, December 2003).
The work has been shown at many individual shows in Poland and abroad.
Publications: Book of Love (Frodo, 2003), singled out in the anthology 246 Loaded Photography Books: The Edge of Photography (Tokyo, 2005). Rumiak is the only artist to whom a whole chapter was dedicated in the book.
