Edward Hartwig excelled in many types of photography - both in formal and thematic terms. But he was also skilful in putting together mutually distant scenes. This work consists of two photographs the artist combined himself, probably with the intention of using them as a study for his Fotografika II, which never came into being. Fotografika (Arkady, 1960, Issue II 1963) is a famous and most important publication by the artist, which, in addition to presenting his photographs, is also a unique form of Hartwig`s expression as a book.
