The photograph shows a view over a snow-cleared city street from the window of the 2nd floor of the Warsaw University of Technology Students` Home at Mochnackiego Street 4, where Pierściński was residing during his studies.
The work has been widely exhibited, including such shows as: 8th National Amateur Art Photography Exhibition, Gliwice (1957); Polish Photographic Society, 1st Branch Office in Kielce (1958); 11th Amateur Art Photography Exhibition, Cracow (1958); 4th Amateur Photography Exhibition, Zakopane (1958); 9th National Amateur Art Photography Exhibition, Warsaw (1959); 3d Amateur Art Photography Exhibition, Kielce (1959).
