This portrait depicts the esteemed Polish film maker Wojciech Wiśniewski. Made within the area of PWSFTviT in Łódź, the work is an example of what is referred to as "metaphoric photography," practiced by the Zero-61 photo group, which was co-founded by Robakowski. The artist used the same head in his later photomontage W. Wiszniewski from the Fetishes series, made in 1987.
