Ireneusz Zjeżdżałka claimed that the aim of photography is "to show our relationship with a place, to read the energy that is deposited there". Sedimentation is one of those series in which statically captured spots give an account of a multi-layered history. The image, which is typical of Zjeżdżałka`s style, was made in the artist`s home town.
